Deliberately lit fire at a Melbourne Secondary School…..
(As published in the Fire Australia Summer 2010-2011 Publication)
A deliberately lit fire at the Ashwood Secondary Fire in the Melbourne Suburb of Monash wiped out almost half of the VCE Study Centre wing of the school.
The damage, which totaled $5 million could have been significantly decreased if the school had an appropriately monitored automatic fire sprinkler system installed throughout.
